It really motivates me to work on more posts.
Apologies for the delay in my response.
Yes your assumption is right. It is a close fitting shirt.

Regarding your questions please read my reply below -
1.If you don't want a bust dart, then simply don't do markings given for SIDE SEAM DART when making your paper patter.
2. When you say "alter the collar", do you mean you don't want to have the collar? In that case, you can still have a basic neckline but you have to mark the neck depth of Front & Back as desired.

Nice to know that you are so keen to learn this subject on your own. I will be very glad if I can help you in any way. Let me know if you have any other queries.

Thank you for your appreciation and visiting my small blog.

Happy Sewing!
Shraddha
Shraddha Nabarhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16751734023307977672noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1579827011815264807.post-91234311616228059572018-07-02T02:00:44.104-04:002018-07-02T02:00:44.104-04:00Hi Shraddha, I'm a first time visitor to your ...Hi Shraddha, I'm a first time visitor to your blog. Found it in my Pinterest notices and found it interesting. Judging by the very small amount of ease you have given, I assume this is a very close fitting shirt. If one did not want the bust dart what changes would one make to the pattern? and how to alter the collar for a plain open neck shirt? Pls excuse if these questions seem stupid...I am entirely self taught, from books and from blogs such a s yours. I also offer my thanks for your generosty in sharing your knowledge so freely with eveyone and subscribed today. Really appreciate it! Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
